HUUYAOW Wobbly Moon, 2024

from $1,799.00

We are pleased to release this original work from Huuyaow!

HUUYAOW begins with the phrase, "Why yearn... for a full moon’s glow?"

This phrase is inspired by the saying, “Life is too short, why dream of an uncertain future?” The artist placed this poster in a spot where it can be seen every day upon waking.

In life, we often cycle through happiness and sorrow, much like the phases of the moon. There’s more ambiguity than absolute joy or sorrow; it all depends on how we view life. For me, if everything is too perfect, the bad days will hit harder. My emotional balance isn't set too high, allowing me to find small joys even on days when things are less than ideal.

Like HUUYAOW in this image, who finds contentment in the imperfect moon she clings to. Today, it serves as her cradle. But when the moon is full, she must climb back up, or else she’ll fall!
